Mount Street Neighbourhood House is responsible for the administration of Bellfield House with the Neighbourhood House Coordinator and Office Manager having responsibility for the day to day operations of the House. Mount Street Neighbourhood House is a not-for-profit incorporated association governed by a Committee of Management consisting of up to twelve volunteers. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month, February to December, with the Annual General Meeting generally held the last Thursday in October each year. Meetings are open to the public but voting rights are limited to the Committee of Management.

Office Staff

The House is run by staff and volunteers who ensure that our activities are operating efficiently and to the overall benefit of the community. The program is managed by the House Coordinator Jill Leonard and the Office Manager Arnavaz Chubb.

Volunteering

The House operates with the assistance of a team of volunteers. Volunteer positions are available in tutoring seniors in basic computer skills, advanced computer skills and iPads and Android Tablets. Volunteer positions are also available in office administration, ESL conversation classes and in assisting with fundraising and with the House’s annual Art & Craft Exhibition held in September each year.
