Beginners are encouraged to undertake a small hand project where they will learn the skills of template making, fabric cutting and hand piecing and quilting. The majority of students in these classes opt for machine sewn patchwork but some prefer to hand piece and hand quilt – either form is an option for this class. All students provide their own materials and equipment although there are class cutting boards, rulers and rotary cutters available to you while you are in class.

Learn to make your own mosaics at your own pace in a relaxing atmosphere. You can begin the class decorating a house number plaque using a variety of materials from ceramic tiles to china, beads or shells. You can then move on to more challenging projects for your garden and learn to use stained glass in your mosaics. There is no limit to what you can make in this exciting class!
